Dance Instructionals: The WOP

How to Dance: a recap of some of the stuff we cover in class

We’re back with our instructionals fam. This edition is all about The Wop, although probably not the version kids are getting off the internet these days.

The Wop is an example of a party dance, i.e. a social dance that was born for the purpose of whipping out at parties and social situations.  The move was originally created in the 80s by B-Fats’ song Woppit.

Ok once you’re done learning these moves online, come to a real class maybe? If you live on the Eastern States, chances are there’s a beginner dance class near you.
