September ’25 Mood-Booster Playlist

Science tells us that dancing boosts memory, reduces stress, improves mood, and lights up the brain in ways that few other activities do. But beyond the neuroscience, there’s something deeper: dance reminds us we belong to each other.

In a time where public discourse is poisoned by polarisation and fear, and where algorithms profit from outrage, dancing together in real life is a radical act. It asks us to make eye contact. To laugh at ourselves. To move in rhythm with people we wouldn’t otherwise meet.

Groove Therapy is our small corner of the world, in which we seek to counter that divisiveness, by building a space that’s all about connecting in the unspoken ways.

If this speaks to you, come join us. We now run three weekly Sydney classes:
Absolute Beginner – On Mondays and Tuesdays, for folks who’ve never danced before
Regular Beginner – On Mondays, for those ready to level up their groove
